Beamsville

Originally settled by its namesake, Jacob Beam, in the mid 1700’s, the town has grown from a small farm village of less than 600 people to a town of over 12,000.

Beamsville is in the heart of wine country and the immediate surrounding area contributes nearly over 20 wineries and a distillery to Niagara Region's impressive collection of vineyards. The wineries surround the small town and in addition to this are many local farms, bringing farm fresh food for locals and visitors to enjoy. The unique climate of the area makes it possible to grow tender fruit despite being as far north as we are in Niagara. This means not just grapes, but all kinds of fresh local fruit. Take the family to visit the cherry, apple, or peach orchards and pick your own to take home and enjoy.

With all those farms and wineries around, it's no surprise that Beamsville has plenty of high-quality restaurant options to choose from. From authentic barbecue to fresh farm-to-table options, even the pickiest palates will not be disappointed!

Beamsville is only about an hour away from Toronto, and about a half hour from Niagara Falls and the border with the United States. Its a great place to call home if you like a little space, a strong sense of community, and access to all the perks of the nearby cities.

The Bruce trail, Balls Falls and Rockaway Falls showcase the unique beauty of the Beamsville Bench. With plenty of local hiking and cycling groups, not to mention regular bike marathons—you’ll never have to enjoy the scenery alone.

With quick access to the Queen Elizabeth Way and waterfront properties along Lake Ontario, it is no mystery why new homes and condos continue to pop up in this lovely town.
